I don’t loathe lizards like I do cockroaches, but these slithery creatures don’t exactly make my life easy.
They drop their excreta everywhere! On the walls, on the floor, in your tea (yucks! But luckily they float so you can spot it easily), and on your books! I once borrowed a book from someone only to have a lizard poo (and pee!) on it. Horrors! The stain stuck even after vigorous damage control. I returned the book and the owner didn’t notice it. Phew!
They also like to jump on me. Seriously. There’d be one on the wall, and when it sees me coming it would panic and run helter-skelter, and whoosh! Off it launches from the wall, and onto me. And then there are baby lizards learning their anti-gravity steps on the ceiling and suddenly, whoosh! Off one falls from the ceiling and onto me.
My dad is terrified of frogs. My mum, rats. I have a friend who couldn’t even look at pictures of snakes (ophidiophobia according to Dobbs).
So what ELSE are you afraid off?
